Get On Board Stop Plastic Polluting Our River

Stand Up Paddle Board Event From Kew Bridge to Richmond

Get on board with Be Richmond on Thursday 21st June 2018 and take part in our inaugural stand up paddle board event from Kew Bridge to Richmond. The event, which aims to highlight the problem of plastic pollution along the river and which will involve collection of plastic along the way, will culminate in a massed gathering of boarders at Richmond.

Be Richmond Chairman Erick Kervaon said:

“Richmond’s beautiful riverside setting is one of the town’s greatest assets. A healthy river is important to everyone who lives in, works in and visits Richmond. Our stand up paddle board event on 21 June will highlight the problem of plastic pollution and be great fun for participants and spectators alike.”

Anyone can take part, subject to completing a training session with our partners, Active 360. We’ll be offering very special discounted rates to the first 60 applicants on a first-come-first-served basis.
